enny has worked in clinical psychology research and practice for more than 25 years. She is a Senior Research Fellow at QUT where she has been involved in research of innovative treatments for alcohol use disorder, anxiety disorders, and depression. Her current research focuses on digital mental health and how technology can be used to improve access to psychological treatment and enhance outcomes. Alongside her research work, Jenny also provides clinical services through her private practice, Recovery Psychology (www.recoverypsychology.org.au).

Jenny draws on evidence-based approaches to help people address a wide range of mental health and well-being challenges. She values respect, autonomy and empowerment, and believes that therapy works best when it is person-centred and collaborative.

She aims to create a supportive and non-judgemental space where we can work together on what matters most to you. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and informed by other evidence-based modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing.

Jenny accepts referrals for anxiety and depressive disorders, substance and behavioural addictions (such as alcohol, other drugs, gambling, gaming), adjustment disorder, stress, burnout, obesity and weight management, and insomnia. She works with adults aged 18 years and over.

Jenny is currently available for late afternoon and evening appointments on Wednesdays.
