Emma is a registered psychologist who welcomes all adult clients from early adulthood to older adults. She works compassionately with clients to help identify their strengths and create meaningful change. She seeks to provide a safe, nurturing and inclusive space for clients to explore what’s on their mind. She takes privilege in listening to each client’s stories, believes profoundly in each person as an individual with their own personal experiences and looks forward to supporting them in re-writing their own narrative.

Emma has experience working with many concerns, including depression, anxiety, mood and personality disorders, trauma, including PTSD, grief and loss, suicidal ideation, sexual and relationship issues, gender identity, and addiction. Emma’s approach reflects a holistic lens using a range of evidenced based person-centered approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and self-compassion Therapy. When working with trauma, Emma uses a combination of Imagery Rescripting & Reprocessing Therapy (IRRT) and Trauma-focused CBT. Emma takes pride in working with each client to develop an individualised treatment plan that works specifically with the client’s evolving needs throughout treatment.

When not at Creative Cognitions, Emma enjoys keeping fit with daily yoga practice, playing soccer and going to the beach with her two young kids.
